MARKET COOKING CLASS celebrating the French cuisine.

Imagine strolling through a French market, picking up the perfect ingredients for a delicious French meal with the help of an expert on French food and fellow enthusiasts, and then cooking all of that fresh seasonal produce in a beautiful kitchen!

This English-language cooking class is a four-hour experience that focuses on exploring a Parisian typical local market. Class begins directly at the market where you will tour the stands and pick out produce with your guide/chef. You will learn all about the products available: seasonal vegetables, meats and poultry, cheeses, and more! The chef will help you decide what to cook – all depending on what’s in season and the group’s preferences. Every market trip is a unique experience. We take responsibility for buying all of the ingredients for the meal – all you have to do is be curious and ask questions…

Back to the cooking school (only 5 minutes distance from the market), you wash hands, tighten your apron… ready to learn how to prepare and to cook a well-balanced 3-course menu, under our chef instructions. Tasting lunch accompanied by wine and coffee espresso follows the class and ends this program.

GOURMET WALKING TOUR including a Cheese class & tastings

Itinerary is unique, designed by Corinne Preteur who personally escorts this tour. In addition to the classic tour that features prize-winning food artisanal shops, you will partake a cheese class taught by Laurent Dubois « Meilleur Ouvrier de France » associate. This program is a Tour de France of traditional specialties including charcuteries, hand-shaped breads, delicate pastries, devine chocolates, farmers cheeses, and of course wines that you will learn to pair with the food.

Tour starts at 9:00am, and ends at 1:30pm.
